Questions resellers ask before paying
- Will this pay for itself if I haven't made my first flip yet?
- Start on the free plan: 5 scans, no card, no monthly reset. A scan reads up to 15 items off one photo, so those 5 scans cover about 75 items. If listing those doesn't save you an hour, don't pay us. Paid starts at $29/month, not $74.99.
- Which marketplaces can I list to today?
- Today WhatAreThose gets your items to listing-ready and exports them: Whatnot CSV (the official 21-column template), generic CSV, and Shopify. Direct API cross-listing to eBay, StockX, GOAT and Alias is on the roadmap and not live yet — if you need one-click posting to those today, we're not there.
- What's gated behind a paid plan?
- Scan volume and inventory size, not the core flow. Free gets 5 lifetime scans, basic legit checking and condition grading. Reseller ($29/mo) adds 40 scans a month, 500 items of inventory, priority legit checks, detailed condition reports and CSV/Shopify export. Store ($99/mo) adds 150 scans, 2,500 items, bulk batches, multi-user access and API access.
- How accurate is the SKU and colorway it pulls off a photo?
- Every scan is a draft you review before it leaves the app. SKU, colorway, size, condition, cost and source are all editable in the results table, and duplicates in the same photo get grouped with the right quantity. You correct once, then export.
- Does it handle cards as well as shoes?
- Yes. Cards use card fields — card number, set, variant, grade — not sneaker fields, and a stack shot groups the duplicates. Sneakers and clothing use SKU, colorway and size.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Manage subscription in your account menu opens the Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel or change plan yourself. No email required, no retention call.
